A lot of people are already using credit unions, and now Citi is offering some extra help.
Starting today, the bank will add new features to its Wealth Management Products, including a new tool for managing your credit card balances.
“We’re introducing a new Citi Bank Wealth Management product called the Wealth Management Suite,” a Citi spokesperson told VentureBeat.
“With this product, we will be able to make it easier for you to manage and plan for your financial goals with CITIQ and Citi Money, two of the best and most trusted credit unions in the US.”
It’s a little different from the Wealth Manager products offered by some banks.
Citi Wealth Management is meant to be more like a regular bank’s Money Management Suite, and its features include an enhanced credit score, access to an online wallet, and the ability to set a “living-wage” and “income” plan for each account.
It’s not the first time Citi has added tools for managing accounts, either.
Last year, the lender added the ability for customers to add and manage their accounts via a mobile app, and it was also recently announced that it would add a wealth management product called Citi Asset Management to the suite.
